Croke Patrick Climbers & Party Group!!!! |
We went to Westport (six of us) to climb Croke Patrick which we did on the Friday afternoon. We had a fantastic meal on Friday night afterward. Breakfast both mornings was second to none and our room was both elegant and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking another trip in the near future to a sister hotel.

If more Irish hotels had the same professional approach to tourism and the same attitude then Ireland's reputation as the land of a thousand welcomes would be well and truly restored.
I made a group ...
booking with the hotel for my best friend's hen and of course as with all group bookings there were changes along the way. But it didn't matter, the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful and so even before we got to the hotel we had a good impression of it.
And we weren't to be disappointed. The staff were so helpful and friendly it made the stay worthwhile.
In total a group of 14 of us stayed at the hotel, some for one night and some for two.
Before we even arrived at the hotel the staff were helpful in providing us with information about hairdressing services nearby.
On the Friday evening we ate at the hotel and as we were browsing menus in the bar the staff had already set a table for us in the bistro.
The staff at this hotel went out of their way to be helpful. On the Saturday morning we were served in the breakfast room by a helpful waiter who set up a table especially for our group and that night when we got back from the nightclub he was serving behind the bar, and still with a smile on his face.
The location is beautiful and picturesque, it's only downside is that it's a little out of the town. But there is a good taxi service in Westport, reasonably priced and taxi drivers are very friendly and helpful.
I couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough and Westport itself is a fabulous location, absolutely ideal for hen parties or group holidays as groups are well received in the town. ---

My mother and I had a very nice stay in Atlantic Coast. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent, and what a lovely room to have it in. Overall hotel prices in Westport in my opinion are too high if you can't avail of special offers. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Westport.

Excellent! I spent my 30th there and what a place to have it, every need catered for and the friendliness of staff was second to none. Always willing to help and offer advice. Wouldn't hesitate to go back for a second and the view from the restaurant was second to none. Great time!

I was treating my sister to a night away and some spa treatments for her birthday. From start to finish we were treated fantastically. The staff in the restaurant, bar, spa and especially reception ...
went above and beyond to make our stay even more special. The food in the restaurant was divine and breakfast in bed the next morning could have fed an army. I will definitely be going back again. Thanks so much for a memorable birthday for my sister. ---

We stayed in the Carlton Atlantic Coast in March . This was our fourth stay and again we were not disappointed. The level of staff service is excellent , especially in the restaurant for both breakfast ...
and dinner. We come back time and time again for the Blue Wave Restaurant and if I had to make a slight criticism it would be that the food was not to the same high standard as on our previous visits.
However, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend the Atlantic coast for a quiet relaxed getaway. ---

We have recently worked hard to improve our restaurant food offering, but quite obviously this was not evident on your recent visit. I will be taking a closer look at the particular nights that you dined, to investigate were there any operational issues on that night.

Great value break in Beautiful Surroundings |

I enjoyed a two night break in Carlton Westport at Easter,although hotel was busy and bustling it was thoroughly relaxing.Breakfast is the nicest hotel buffet I've had in a long time and the quality of the food in both the bar and the restaurant is superb. The gym is disappointing but Croagh Patrick is a stones throw away if you are feeling active!

If you are looking to spoil yourself to a point of no return, be among some of the nicest surroundings in Ireland, sample 'The Best' food ever tasted and meet some of the friendliest hotel staff members, then please take a visit to The Carlton - Atlantic Coast in Westport......a truly magical experience!!!

breakfast to start our day, then we had a sauna and a swim. We had a beautiful meal in the bistro. All the staff treated us brilliantly, we are hoping to go back with our girls in the summer.
