A wonderful place with wonderful staff
What a lovely place, the location was perfect set in a really beautiful place; but what made it really special was the staff. I asked my self if these people where really this happy and helpful and then I met the manager and if I worked for him I also would be happy and helpful, keep up the good work and I'll see you soon.

We stayed in this hotel for just one night for a christening the following day. The room was lovely with beautiful views. The staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere in the hotel. The breakfast was also very nice and the times were convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely room and excellent food, friendly staff. We stayed in five different four star hotels in Ireland, this was the best.

Thank you to all the staff at the Atlantic Coast for your excellent service, friendly welcome and efficient management. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my friend's first visit to Westport and she loved every minute of her stay, thanks to the staff, the accommodation and the comfort at the Atlantic Coast.

Great family Hotel
 
We were there for a weekend with our 4 year old and we really appreciated the kids club and the facility to get a baby sitter. That meant we could relax and have a dinner at our own pace. Also, the food ... was very nice and all the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated on the beautiful bay of Westport and close by to the Pirate adventure park, which was another treat for our little girl! Would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone. ---

Lovely staff, courteous, friendly, helpful and great at their jobs. Very clean room, with lovely towels. Food fantastic, the best in any hotel we have been in. There could have been some improvements ... though. The hair dryers were awful, so bring your own ladies. No iron or board in the room, which are standard in some other hotels we have been in. We both felt that there could be something done to inject a bit of atmosphere into the reception area. Maybe some more seating-rearranged to give a sense of intimacy/privacy. A lot more could be done with it. Also the new bar area, needs to have more umph added.. ---

Relaxing Stay
We stayed at the Atlantic Coast Hotel for three nights during a trip to Ireland in June, 2010. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and ... helpful, the restaurant lovely and the food very good. Three issues: the room safe was inoperable, there was no iron/ironing board in the room (and we were unable to procure one - when we called we were told none were available), and the shower curtain would blow in on you when showering (very uncomfortable.) Otherwise an excellent experience, and we would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Westport in the future. ---

Carlton Atlantic Coast Hotel
 
Wonderful. A delightful experience. We were on a budget break of 3 nights for the price of 2 including one evening meal in the restaurant. On booking we requested a room overlooking the sea and we were ... delighted to be given a lovely room with a harbour view and we were not asked for any price supplement. The restaurant meal was a delight and encouraged us to eat all of our meals in-house at the Carlton. The staff were all friendly and helpful and one of the senior managers even helped to carry our luggage. A truly lovely hotel. This was our second visit - we will be back again next year. ---

Wedding 28th May 2010
 
Got married in the hotel on 28th May, had an absolutely outstanding day, the hospitality, service, food was fantastic. Could not fault one thing in the day. Garrett the Manager could not have been more ... helpful, in the build up to the wedding and equally on the wedding day - nothing was too much. All the other staff we equally as pleasant and helpful. All the guest at the wedding could not say enough about the hotel and the meal. Was nice to hear that. Again would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel for a weekend away or a nice intimate wedding for that personal touch. ---

Service in Restaurant very bad at breakfast, staff not organised. Standard of food very good, good location, leisure centre could do with being updated.

I would also like to guarantee you that this is not the general level of breakfast service that we offer our guests.
